The Most Valuable Pitch (MVP) Competition is a pitch competition for Entrepreneurship students at Arlington Heights High School.
Pitch an original idea in 5 minutes or less, describing your idea to fill a "vacant lot" on the campus of Arlington Heights. This "vacant lot" can be any space on campus for which you have a vision of a better use for the space. Your empowerment as a student and your personal value creation will enhance the literal and figurative prosperity of our campus community.

How are Winners Selected
Students will compete in classroom competitions at their respective home campus.
Each campus will then determine a Campus Champion.
The Campus Champion will advance to the finals. The finalists will present their idea in a live, five minute presentation to a panel of judges, followed by a short Q&A session.
The judges will score all finalists based on their presentations and answers during the Q&A session to determine a 1st and 2nd place winner.

- How you took ownership as no one will want to improve your campus as much as you will.

- How your solution respects the rights of others and shows the links between entrepreneurship and the well-being of our campus community.
- How your solution creates the greatest benefit while using the least resources.
- How your solution is a Win-Win as cooperation creates real value in society, for yourself and for others.
Who can compete?
- Any current student currently enrolled in Entrepreneurship at Arlington Heights High School.
- The competition is 100% free to enter.
- Individuals or groups of two (2) are allowed. If working in a group, both partners must participate equally in their group's pitch

- Reflect on and identify your innate abilities that can create value for others
- Be Opportunity Obsessed and look for Win-Win opportunities
- Look to your Community for inspiration
- Practice Humility by utilizing a mentor and seeking assistance
- Seek Knowledge of the business model canvas basics
- Spend time practicing pitches with peers and business professionals
